About Elections in USA
A nonpartisan reference for elections across the United States.
This site brings together, for each election, who is running, what they have raised and spent, and what forecasters and markets say, with the source and any known ties shown next to each number. Every election has its own section by year, and new ones are added as their data becomes available.
What you will find
For the 2026 general election: all 435 House districts, the Senate and governor races, other statewide offices, state legislatures, ballot measures and the biggest local contests, with a page for each state and a profile for every candidate we can match to an official record. For 2027: mayoral elections. Plus a comparison of forecasters and prediction markets and a record of who owns or partners with each source.
Where the data comes from
Campaign finance comes from FEC bulk files and covers each candidate's latest filing period, shown on every profile. Market odds come from a public market API and are snapshotted with a date. District ratings come from the forecasters themselves, as compiled on Wikipedia (CC BY-SA); national model numbers stay on their publishers' sites and we link to them. Read the full methodology.
Independence
We aggregate and attribute. We do not endorse candidates or parties, and we write no ratings of our own. When a source has a documented tie to a company, party or business, we flag it and link the document on its source page.
Corrections
If a number here does not match the official record it cites, the official record wins and we fix our page. Each profile links the filing it is based on. To report a mistake or ask a question, write to contact@electionsinusa.com.
